Najnowszego Ne Obliviscaris - Citadel.


Bardzo ba³am siê tzw. syndromu pierwszej p³yty, bo Portal of I by³o bardziej genialne ni¿ ustawa przewiduje i nie bardzo widzia³am, ¿eby da³o siê taki poziom utrzymaæ. A jednak panom Australijczykom siê uda³o i nowa p³yta jest równie fantastyczna [-o< :marzenie:. Jak kto¶ têskni za Opesiem z wysoko¶ci Blackwater Park, to braæ i s³uchaæ!

Pos³ucha³em. Ca³kiem fajne, choæ porównanie do "Blackwater Park" imho nietrafione. Dla mnie ich muza stylistycznie usadowiona jest gdzie¶ pomiêdzy Between the Buried and Me a Tesseract i Skyharbor. ;)  Albumu z pewno¶ci± jeszcze trochê pos³ucham. :)

W ostatnich dniach mam renesans na twórczo¶æ Rainbow i Deep Purple. O tym pierwszym innym razem, tym razem o kilku p³ytach Purpli powsta³ych ju¿ po ich z³otym okresie, a mianowicie "Burn", "Stormbringer" i "Perfect Strangers". Imho gdyby nie pewne kompozycje wyró¿niaj±ce siê i dorównuj±ce tym z najlepszego okresu (m.in. 'Burn', 'Mistreated', 'Soldier of Fortune' i 'Perfect Strangers'), by³yby to bardzo przeciêtne i nie warte zapamiêtania i przypominania albumy. Owszem, da siê jeszcze z tych p³yt co¶ wycisn±æ, ale prawdê powiedziawszy nie jest to nic wielkiego, nietuzinkowego i ponadczasowego. ;)

Jak na sk³adaka ¶wietna jest ta antologia Rainbow. Brakuje mi mo¿e jedynie 'Love's No Friend' i 'Vielleicht Das Nächste Mal (Maybe Next Time)', ale reszta to same rarytasy - gor±co polecam! :)
