No i wci±¿ mamy nadziejê, ¿e BT choæ odrobinê wynagrodzi nam nasz± zesz³oroczn± stratê i bêdziemy mieli o czym tu dyskutowaæ

Wreath w w±tku z podsumowaniami:
I sk±d info o projekcie Vennarta i Gamblera?
Hi everyone
Just checking in. Thought you might wanna hear an update. Here's very little information in a huge chunk:
It might well seem like a long time to be waiting for a record (it's not been that long though reaallly has it...) but there's plenty of action going on behind the scenes.
British Theatre has taken over much of my time and - outside of my joyous activities with Biffy Clyro - has been the priority project since the break up of Oceansize. It took a fair while to find our sound. This would be primarily my fault. Initially I wanted to try totally new things and see what else i could do. Well, i'm slowly finding out. It took a while for me to accept that i can't really help the way i sound, and that this thing that i was running away from was a sound that i'd spent many years cultivating with my old friends. It's as much a part of my artistic DNA as anyone else's. Yes, i know how pretentious that sounds, but it makes a lot of sense if you've been trying to break out of your comfort zone for the best part of a year to no avail.
Conversely, when British Theatre does finally furnish your ears it may sound totally alien to those of you who crave more Oceansize. But to myself, it's really not so far removed. It would rather ruin the plot if i went into detail here about what we're doing and what it's about. The record is not yet done, but it will be soon. How soon? Not soon enough for any of us, but we hope to have some tasters up in a couple of months with the album to follow later next year.
Similarly, i've turned a bit of a corner with my own material, the style of which has been dictated, by process of elimination, by the other projects (British Theatre with Gambler and Empire State Bastard with Simon Neil). Again, it took a while to write naturally and organically - ie not forcing myself to change for the sake of it. I've admitted defeat and realised i actually really like playing the fucking guitar. Who knew?
I'm looking forward to feeling the excitement of releasing music again. I've really missed it.
Hope you're all well and ready to celebrate the birth of our lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross for all our sins.
All love.
MJV
