Slyszeli, ze Dreamy juz nowa plyte robia? :P Portnoy juz perkusje nagral! Swiry! Ja jeszcze 'Systematic Chaos' nie znam na pamiec a oni juz nowy album robia :P :P Plyta ma sie ukazac na poczatku przyszlego roku! Jak Portnoy stwierdzil (tu cytat): "Imagine a DREAM THEATER album with 'A Change Of Seasons', 'Octavarium', 'Learning To Live', 'Pull Me Under' and 'The Glass Prison'... all on one album... COULD YOU HANDLE IT?? Excited? I sure am!!!!"

Heh, marketing musi byæ, zobaczymy, co im z tych obietnic wyjdzie, bo to chyba zbyt piêknie brzmi, ¿eby by³o realne ;) Ale po 'Systematic Chaos' nie bojê siê za bardzo o jako¶æ tego nowego albumu. Ale hmm... to brzmi, jakby mia³ to byæ album z samymi naprawdê d³ugimi utworami, a ja jednak wolê czasem czego¶ krótszego pos³uchaæ, a nie dwudziestominutowe 'A Change of Seasons' albo 'Octavarium'.

To co¶ wolno s³uchasz, je¶li jeszcze nie znasz na pamiêæ 'Systematic Chaos' ;)

Ta Portnojowa propaganda sukcesu to mi siê co¶ widzi od Opesia przejêt±. Majk te¿ przed ka¿d± now± p³yt± twierdzi, ¿e ta w³a¶nie bêdzie najlepsza, bêdzie urywaæ g³owê/dupê i ach jej... a potem wychodzi Watershit :mrgreen:. Na waszym miejscu nie napala³abym wiêc siê jako¶ szczególnie :P.

Wszystko wskazuje wiêc na to, ¿e 10 studyjny album Dreamów ¶wiat³o dzienne ujrzy w II kwartale przysz³ego roku, a wiêc identycznie jak w przypadku dwóch poprzednich studyjniaków.

Choæ bardzo lubiê Dream Theater (DVD "Score" zreszt± te¿ bardzo), to my¶lê, ¿e jego (Portka) megalomania zaczyna nie mieæ ju¿ granic i to zaczyna trochê dra¿niæ. Mo¿ecie zreszt± obejrzeæ krótki trailer tego wydawnictwa (szczegó³y: tutaj).

Wielka szkoda, ¿e Portnoy rozmienia Dream Theater na drobne. Skar¿y³em siê ju¿ na cykl studyjna-koncertowa-studyjna-koncertowa, do tego dochodz± przecie¿ oficjalne bootlegi, ró¿ne wydania okoliczno¶ciowe, filmik z trasy i do tego wydania z samym Portnoy'em, prezentuj±ce Portnoy'a, pokazuj±ce Portnoy'a, z gadaniem Portnoy'a, z szaleñstwem Portnoy'a, z pa³eczkami Portnoy'a, czy z wizyt± w toalecie Portnoy'a (to nie jest niestety wybryk mojej wyobra¼ni)...

Trudno, jak na razie formie ca³ego zespo³u to szczególnie nie szkodzi³o, bo 'Systematic Chaos' jest bardzo udane.

Np. takie "Greatest Hit (...and 21 other pretty cool songs)"   :twisted: Takie wydawnictwa zniechêcaj± do zespo³u , nic nadzwyczajnego (dosta³em na urodziny :lol:) i raczej tylko dla prawdziwych fanatyków i kolekcjonerów :P. Choæ przy takim sta¿u DT niby nic dziwnego, tonie pasuje mi do reszty ich wydawnictw :P

A tak swoj± drog± to Portnoy móg³by nagraæ co¶ o Myoung'u , bo przez ca³± ich karierê wypowiedzia³ mniej s³ów, ni¿ Portnoy na pierwszym lepszym video :D

Dreami oficjalnie w swoim profilu na MySpace umie¶cili teaser nowej p³yty. Tak jak ju¿ przedtem pisa³em, praktycznie nic z niego nie wynika, bo choæ to zlepek mi³ych dla uszu sympatyka twórczo¶ci Teatru Marzeñ d¼wiêków i klimatów znanych z poprzednich albumów, to jednak trudno oceniæ w jakim kierunku poszli i jak finalnie album bêdzie siê s³ucha³o. Ale jak pisa³em ju¿ w innym w±tku, po formacjach o ugruntowanym wizerunku artystycznym nie oczekujê rewolucyjnych zmian, choæ z pewno¶ci± mi³e by³oby gdyby pojawia³y siê nowe przestrzenie, ale tylko takie, które naturalnie wkomponowuj± siê w stylistkê (¿adnych historii typu "St.Anger" Metallici), wiêc najwa¿niejsze by p³yta dotar³a do mojego wnêtrza i zago¶ci³a tam na d³u¿ej, najlepiej na zawsze. Zobaczymy jak to bêdzie z nowym opusem Dream Theater…

'A Rite Of Passage' and the soaring 'Wither' are destined to thrill those that prefer DT in more succinct form, but… the rest of the album… Christ! Apart from pointing out that the band has cut back on the growled vocals of the last album and **really** played to its long-established strengths, it's hard to know where to begin. So instead I'll leave it till the official unveiling date of June 22 for you to add your own personal choice of superlative.
