Najprawdopodobniej to fejk, ale tak mniej wiêcej mo¿e brzmieæ nowy album… Ca³y czas siê zastanawiam, czy to dobrze czy ¼le? :-k Pomimo w±tpliwo¶ci, ca³y czas dajê p³ycie du¿y kredyt zaufania i czekam. Mo¿e nie z wypiekami, ale czekam - ciekawo¶æ jednak ogromna. :)

Can you give some insight about Heritage?
Fredrik: Opeth has always been keen on not repeating ourselves. Heritage has a unique sound, but is still very dark and intense and I think it's still very much Opeth, but different.

I saw the new album art from Travis Smith. He seems to have done all of Opeth's art since Still Life. I was wondering who came up with the idea and is there any concept behind it?
Fredrik: Mike came up with the idea after a dream he had. It suits the sound of the album.

During the making of Heritage were there any certain bands or musicians that might have influenced you?
Fredrik: Yes, I saw Jeff Beck just before we went into the studio and also working with guest musicians Alex Acuna and Björn Json Lind was inspiring.

Yup, dawalem juz linka tutaj. Najbardziej mnie rozbawil fragment: "No, jesli chodzi o moj wklad w album to napisalem wspolnie z Mikaelem jeden kawalek, ktory bedzie bonusem" :D :D I jeszcze to: "Przynioslem cala kupe materialu na nowy album, ale Mike uznal, ze sie nie nada" :D :D :D

Coraz bardziej mnie dziwi podejscie Mike'a: nie przynosisz materialu, to zle (vide odejscie Petera), a jak juz cos przyniesiesz, to fajnie, ale co z tego, skoro wszystko i tak pojdzie do kosza...

No widzisz, dla mnie Derelict Herds to jeden z najlepszych - je¶li nie najlepszy kawa³ek z sesji Watershed.. Dopuszczanie innych do g³osu w rezultacie daje zwiêkszon± innowacyjno¶æ, ale na to mo¿emy w tym wypadku liczyæ coraz mniej. No nic, zobaczymy co wysmaruj± na Heritage

to chyba nie do koñca tak - pamiêtam dyskusjê, ¿e Peter przynosi³ pomys³y - tylko nie przechodzily one przez cenzurê (Mike twierdzi³, ¿e reszta zespo³u tez by³a przeciwna, ale jak by³o mo¿na siê raczej domy¶laæ) i wymieniane to by³o w kontek¶cie odej¶cia Petera - widocznie frustracja wziê³a górê

Mo¿e dlatego, ¿e numer jest trochê w stylu Riverside (pierwsza i trzecia jego czê¶æ) i Mike jako¶ tam ura¿ony zadym± zwi±zan± z HunterFest nie chcia³ by kojarzono Opeth z muz± z Polski… :wink: :mrgreen:

Per jest wymieniony jak wspó³kompozytor podk³adu d¼wiêkowego do menu w "The Roundhouse Tapes", a to ju¿ jest wyró¿nienie :lol: A co do Petera, to chyba nie by³o do koñca tak, ¿e on nic nie przynosi³, bo co, pisa³ przez pierwsze 3 albumy, a nagle jaka¶ blokada? Zdaje sie, ¿e Mike nie jest w stanie na d³u¿sz± metê wspó³pracowaæ, bo jak tworzy sam, to ma pe³ne mo¿liwo¶ci realizowania swoich wizji. Z jednej strony to dobrze, bo nic go nie ogranicza, ale z drugiej strony rodzi niebezpieczeñstwo zej¶cia na manowce. A co do wk³adu Fredrika, to jako¶ jego brak przebolejê :P
