U mnie nadal nijak sie nie broni ;) Sluchalem tej plyty juz z milion razy, czesto w sporych odstepach czasu i nadal nie zre. Najbardziej wciaz rajcuje mnie 'Lines...', ale tylko dlatego, ze 'Face in the Snow' wylecial z podstawowego programu plyty.

Ale lubie te plyte. Szkoda tylko, ze wynika to raczej z ilosci przesluchan i osluchania sie materialu, a nie z faktycznej jakosci muzyki.

Na chwilê obecn±, je¶li ju¿ s³ucham czego¶ z "Heritage", to jest to zestaw Nepente+Haxprocess+Famine. Reszta zupe³nie nie ma klimatu jak dla mnie. Trzy wy¿ej wymienione akurat mi siê podobaj±. Mam momentami wra¿enie, ¿e Mike napisa³ je bo mia³ pomys³, a resztê albumu da³ na odczepnego, ¿eby by³o "pi razy drzwi w stylu". Ale klimatu to to nie trzyma. Mo¿e mi siê zmieni, bo za pierwszym razem album mi siê podoba³, ale teraz mam nadziejê, ¿e Mike wyci±gnie wnioski i bardziej siê postara przy nastêpcy.

Basically, I've been getting closer to the music I listen to. I don't listen to new extreme metal. I think it's dull, I think it's shit — most of it. And I can't get impressed with bands that are fast, that play… Brutality, for me, does nothing. I mean, you can't be more brutal than… I've been into the whole death metal scene for ages, so it's not happening that I'm gonna be impressed by brutal music anymore. And I think metal has a new meaning to me than it did before. I think 'Heritage' is metal; I think it's rebellious, anyway. But a lot of people, obviously, would disagree. To a lot of people, metal is screaming vocals, double-bass drums, pretty much a computerized recording that sounds inhuman, and I think we just reacted towards that, I guess. To me, it's maybe a bold statement or whatever you call it, but in our catalog, I think, 'Heritage' is the most metal record. But for different reasons than trying to sound like a generic metal band."

Jest jakie¶ podobieñstwo, choæ dla odmiany pocz±tek kawa³ka Yes brzmi jak cytat ze ¶rodkowej, jazz rockowej, szalonej czê¶ci 21st Century Schizoid Man King Crimson.

Mi to siê jeszcze kojarzy z pocz±tkiem Luminol Wilsona. Czyli wszystko pasuje. I mean, Steven jest tak genialny ¿e inspirowa³ KC i Yes, jak jeszcze gra³ na cymba³kach :D

ja te¿ tak mia³em wczoraj kiedy pos³ucha³em po d³u¿szej przerwie Devil's Orchard, który wci±¿ uwa¿am za cholernie dobry utwór - prawdopodobnie ich najlepszy od czasów Ghost Reveries. Niestety po przes³uchaniu reszty nadal stwierdzam, ¿e reszta p³yty nie trzyma poziomu za wyj±tkiem kilku momentówdo¶æ losowo powtykanych tu i ówdzie. Chyba ju¿ nigdy siê nie przekonam

Nadal równie¿ "I Feel..." za utwór godny wszystkich dobrych numerów Opeth. "Orchard" te¿ jest znakomity, a reszta to w³a¶nie momenty. Niestety poziom zagubienia Opeth irytujê, bo po wys³uchanie "Throat of Winter" nie spodziewa³em siê, ¿e ca³y album bêdzie taki...
