Szczerze mowiac to ten pierwszy fragment z czystymi wokalami skojarzyl mi sie z tym naszym Lion Shepherd. Ale potem faktycznie czuc ducha strego Opeth. Ale jakos konkretnie to nie mam skojarzen.

Taka sytuacja: juz w listopadzie premiera reedycji queenowego klasyka 'News of the World' - tu krotka zapowiedz albumu. Mniejsza juz o to, ale kuzwa, czujecie, ze 'We Are The Champions', 'We Will Rock You' i cala kupa innych swietnych numerow z tego albumu ma juz 40 lat? Ja pierdziele...

Curva, co sie stalo z tym zespolem? Ja nie twierdze, ze to kiedykolwiek bylo jakies mega genialne i rewolucyjne granie, ale pierwsze dwie, ewentualnie trzy plyty byly naprawde ok. A teraz? Poprzednia plyta totalnie niestrawna, a teraz jakies proste (zeby nie powiedziec prostackie) pioseneczki zbudowane na jednym riffie z denerwujacym wokalem... Ja wiem, ze to wolnosc artystyczna blablabla, ale zeby az tak odejsc od tego, co kiedys robilo sie naprawde dobrze? (Dobra, Opeth tez tak uczynil ;) )

Co do Comy, zgoda. Je¿eli taka bêdzie ca³a nowa p³yta z t± fataln± ok³adk± i kiepskim tytu³em, to a¿ na usta ci¶nie siê okre¶lenie: badziewie! Ale po¿yjemy, zobaczymy... Co do Opeth, nie zgadzam siê. Opteh nadal gra wysmakowan± ambitn± muzykê, tyle tylko, ¿e dla fanów starego Yes itp. Minder np. na ostatnim Prog in Park wspomina³ mi, ¿e jego tacie, fanowi art rocka z lat 70-tych, te najnowsze p³yty Opeth bardzo przypad³y do gustu. ;)

Jak ktos jest zdesperowany to mozna juz na stronie Nuclear Blast zamawiac tego nowego Theriona - klik.

Ale kurna jak na tak monumentalne dzielo, to w temacie okladki mogli sie bardziej postarac.
