Fragment wypowiedzi dla "Teraz Rock" na temat nowego albumu:
"Powiedzia³em niedawno, ¿e nie bêdziemy ju¿ grali hard rocka... Mnie hard rock kojarzy siê z bluesowym klimatem i du¿± ilo¶ci± brzmieñ retro z lat 70. Teraz tego nie bêdzie. Bêdzie bli¿ej lat 80. Je¶li pomin±æ Marillion z Fishem, to w sumie jest to raczej znienawidzona dekada dla rocka progresywnego. Ale nam to nie przeszkadza, bo przede wszystkim jest to dekada, w której 3/4 zespo³u siê wychowa³o. Ja jestem z pokolenia kaset, a nie winyli. Jestem z muzycznego pokolenia nie lat 70., tylko 80. Inspiracje tymi czasami sprawi±, ¿e nasz przekaz bêdzie o wiele bardziej szczery. Ale bez obaw - mówiê o rocku. Nie mówiê o disco czy new romantic... Pojawi± siê w naszej muzyce odniesienia do lat 80. w stylu na przyk³ad The Cure. Bêdzie bardziej gitarowo i basowo, mniej hammondowo. Bêdzie bardzo melodyjnie. Na pewno te¿ przejrzy¶ciej. Im jestem starszy, tym bardziej chcê graæ muzykê, która ma w sobie wiêcej przestrzeni, a co za tym idzie wiêcej szlachetno¶ci."

Hmm, nie za wczesnie jeszcze na biografie? ;)  W sensie - zespol istnieje dopiero jakies 15 lat i pewnie jeszcze z drugie tyle pogra...

Riverside zagral wczoraj na MHF dwa nowe kawalki - byly ciary, wiec jestem spokojny o nowa plyte ;) Z tego co Mariusz mowil, to album ujrzy swiatlo dzienne 4 wrzesnia i bedzie tez wersja LTD z dodatkowa plyta z 'night sessions', tak jak w limitowanej wersji 'S.O.N.G.S.'.

Z tych nowych kawa³ków bardzo podszed³ mi ten 'bez tytu³u'. Drugi (Discard Your Fear) na razie tak ¶rednio. ;) Ale ogólnie fajowo, ¿e wreszcie jest ju¿ co¶ ¶wie¿ego. ;)
